Overview
Five days, the most complete of our Odisha tours. Two nights in Puri cover the Jagannath Temple and Chilika Lake. The tour then stops at Konark long enough for the evening light & sound show before two nights in Bhubaneswar, with a full day for the temples, the Jain caves, Nandankanan Zoo and the Tribal Museum, and a last stop at the Ekamra Haat crafts market.
Day-by-day Itinerary

Bhubaneswar Arrival – Puri (80 km with sightseeing)
Pick-up from Bhubaneswar airport and drive to Puri, visiting the Dhauli Peace Pagoda, the 108 Shivling temple, Lingaraj Temple and the Chausath (64) Yogini Temple on the way. Check in at Puri in the evening and enjoy the beach; overnight in Puri.

Puri – Jagannath Temple – Chilika Lake (Satapada) – Puri (50 km each way)
Darshan at Sri Jagannath Temple (non-Hindus are not allowed inside), then the Gundicha, Mausi Maa and Bedi Hanuman temples, and on via Alarnath Temple to Satapada for a boat ride on Chilika Lake (payable directly) to see the Irrawaddy dolphins and the sea mouth where the lagoon meets the sea. Return to Puri for the evening at Golden Beach and the local market; overnight in Puri.

Puri – Konark – Bhubaneswar (35 km + 65 km)
Check out and drive the marine drive to Konark via Chandrabhaga Beach and Ramchandi Temple to see the 13th-century Sun Temple, staying on for the evening light & sound show if you wish (own cost). Then drive to Bhubaneswar and check in; overnight in Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar Sightseeing
Visit the Rajarani, Mukteshwar and Parasurameswara temples, the Khandagiri and Udayagiri Jain caves, Nandankanan Zoo with its white tigers and lion safari, and the Tribal Museum, followed by free time for shopping. Nandankanan and the Tribal Museum are both closed on Mondays; overnight in Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar Departure
After breakfast, check out and visit Ekamra Haat, the state handicrafts market. Then transfer to Bhubaneswar airport or railway station for your onward journey.
