Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur & Jaisalmer
Overview
Eight days across the whole state, from Jaipur to Jaisalmer. Jaipur opens with Amber Fort and Palace, the Gaitore cenotaphs, Jal Mahal, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, with an optional evening at the Birla Mandir and Chokhi Dhani. The road south stops at the Brahma Temple in Pushkar before reaching Udaipur for Lake Pichola, Moti Magri, Saheliyon ki Bari, the Crystal Gallery and the evening light and sound show. Jodhpur follows for Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, and then Jaisalmer — where this tour spends a night in a desert camp at Sam, with a camel ride, Rajasthani folk dance and dinner, before the golden fort, its havelis, Gadisar Lake and Bada Bagh the next day. This is the only one of our Rajasthan tours that includes a desert camp night.
